Specialist paint spraying business Spectrum Coatings are a Southampton based business with colour firmly at the heart of everything they do.

Traditionally PVC windows and doors have only been available in white or brown, but advances in paint technology means Spectrum Coatings are able to spray paint these items plus many more to any colour specified – with fantastic results.

And inside they are able to spray paint kitchen doors and drawer fronts bringing new life to tired looking units. Why replace a sound kitchen when you can have a new look kitchen in any colour you choose with less mess, fuss and cost.

The brief.

Spectrum Coatings asked if we could add something to a couple of the pages on their website that would help to illustrate the difference a little colour can make to kitchens and exterior surfaces.

What we did.

First thing was to make nine different colour versions of each of the two photographs. With all the photographs on the web page and hidden under each other it’s a very simple job using javascript to swap the photographs as the user moves about the palette of colours.
