Emma from Hooves and Love contacted me to let me know that the business would be changing hands.
A short time later Chelsea contacted me with some alterations to the website and some instruction in how to change a few things for herself.
As the existing website was a few years old I thought it would be better to update the Theme so we could take advantage of all the latest features in WordPress. This also meant I wouldn’t be teaching Chelsea how to use an older version of things – new owner, new website.
The new theme is based very closely on the last one, but this time around is built as a child theme of WordPress’s default Twenty Twenty Three theme. This takes advantage of the full site editor, so all aspects of the website are editable within the WordPress admin section.
It was also my chance to tidy up all of my custom work that was running on the website – bundling it up into a plugin for ease of updates going forwards.
I Look forward to hearing how the website works out for its new owner.
