Web Design for Surrey architects

Web Design for Surrey architects

Surrey based architect Emily Codrington contacted us after seeing a website we’d designed for Surrey property developers Rodean developments. Emily was keen to have her own website designed along similar lines, but with a lighter and cleaner feel.

Emily supplied the simple logotype which we then used as a guide to the overall look of the website and the simple two colour theme.

Central to the website is the portfolio of the architects work. The portfolio is designed to be filterable, making it easy for website visitors to hone in on projects similar to what they have in mind.

Our favourite content management system WordPress was drafted in to handle looking after the admin side of things, while the front of the website was built on a responsive framework to so it adapts itself to the screen size/window size of whatever device is being used to view it.

Technology: XHTML / CSS / PHP / WordPress
Inspiration/Style: light & clean

UPDATE

Since launching the website Emily has decided to take a position with another architects practice, so the website is no longer live. We have made the demonstration website available if you would like to explore further.
