Neil from Hampshire building company Enmac contacted us looking for a re-design of his company’s website. The existing website was built using WordPress which Neil was quite happy to continue using.
The old website featured galleries of past projects – but lacked any descriptions of the projects. We wanted the new website to include more text, both for the websites’ users and so Google would find the website more relevant to searches.
The colour scheme for the new website is taken from the old website, we improved the navigation with increased contrast and used a subtle stone background texture. The biggest change to the website is the portfolio of projects. Enmac’s portfolio of building projects is growing pretty rapidly so we felt it necessary to allow users to filter the projects to find those that interest them. And of course this time with descriptions.
Built using WordPress again we designed the new website on a responsive framework, so it automatically adjusts itself depending on the screen size of the device being used to view it – so is easily viewed on pretty much any device.
