A short while ago I designed a custom WordPress theme for Countrywide Park Home’s website. The specifications for the site were fairly complex, and I wanted enough budget to be able to spend time making the admin side of things as simple as possible for the owners. the site was one of the more expensive projects I’ve worked on.

Full Parks is a sister company to Countrywide Park Homes and were keen to use the ‘Countrywide’ theme on their website.

With all of the hard work already done, this job was primarily about adapting the design slightly to fit with the branding of Full Parks.

This was an interesting project as I work using a ‘Parent’ and ‘Child’ theme method, so the idea of a ‘Sibling’ theme was a new concept. My ‘child’ themes now automatically check for certain custom files, and include these – so customising ‘child’ themes whilst retaining updatability is now possible.
