Surrey based taxi company Cathy’s Taxi originally contacted us asking for help moving her existing website onto some more cost effective hosting. We quickly moved cranleightaxi.co.uk into a new hosting account, job done.

A little while later Cathy asked if we could update the website to work on phones and other mobile devices. Previously the taxi company had purchased a mobile specific website, but were having problems keeping the two websites updated with current information. Thankfully responsive website design has pretty much put an end to having to run two versions of a website; one for desktop users, another for mobile users, meaning a single site can work just as well regardless of the device being used to access it.

Cathy was pretty happy with her existing website design, so we took inspiration from this, choosing the same colours and general feel for the new design, but just made things a little clearer and obvious. Cathy was also keen to move from the domain name “cranleightaxi.co.uk” to the more personal “cathys-taxi.co.uk”.
