Domain name registration.

If you haven’t already purchased a domain name for your website, then I’ll happy to do this on your behalf. I use a UK based registration company, with all details strictly in your name. Prices vary depending on the top level domain, but start from as little as £12 per annum.

If you already have a domain name you’d like to use, or choose a different registration company to make your purchase, then no problem, I’m happy to offer you some guidance.

If you register your own domain name remember to keep the login details safe, these will be required by me when setting up your website and associated services.

Insist that anyone registering a domain name on your behalf uses your name and contact details, not theirs. It’s your domain name – no web design company should  be registered as the owner.
