Natalie contacted me looking for help constructing a website to list the top sailing events from around the world.

The website needed to be clean, simple and make it easy to find and add events.

As Natalie had previous experience using WordPress this was chosen as the base to build the site with.

A new ‘event’ content type was added and the plugin ‘Advanced Custom Fields’ used to create the additional data fields needed. The event submission page creates new events in the admin side of things ready for manual approval before being made public. Other work involved the ‘search’ filters used on the events listing pages.

I look forward to seeing how the site gathers interest.
