With a WordPress Care Plan I’ll make sure your website continues to perform well for you and your visitors whilst you concentrate on what matters to you.
I can take care of keeping your WordPress website updated for you. After taking a backup of your website I will run through updating the WordPress core, active plugins and your current theme.
All major updates are performed on a local copy of your website first – so your website will always remain live.
If whilst updating your website I encounter an issue I offer up to an hour of compatibility support. If I can’t fix it within that time I will contact you with recommendations.

Prices
All WordPress sites vary in complexity, simple sites with fewer Plugins are easier to maintain than complex ones that use lots of Plugins. I carefully assess your site before advising on an annual fee to keep everything running smoothly.
Simple sites start at around £170 per annum, whilst more complex sites, such as those with e-commerce or membership systems start at £230 per annum.
What’s included?
- WordPress core updates (to take advantage of WordPress’ recent features and security updates)
- WordPress plugins updates (with proper backups and testing to avoid any incompatibilities/problems)
- WordPress theme updates (which can often be problematic)
- WordPress Support (is offered via email and telephone, got a question? just ask.)
- Minor design changes (to colours or layouts that can be done quickly)
Updates are generally performed once a month. If you need a minor design change performing immediately I will do my best to accommodate this or will schedule in the work

What isn’t included?
- Premium Plugin/Theme License renewals (but I’ll let you know when these renewals are necessary)
- Adding your content (but I’ll point you in the right direction if you’re having trouble)
- Major design changes (but we can schedule in the work as a mini project)
